CRICKET CLUB 2011 CALENDAR
Shamley Green Cricket club has produced a calendar for 2011, in aid of the club, CHASE Hospice Care for Children, and other local charities.Shamley Green Cricket Club is celebrating its 170th season. Last year the club was threatened with closure in the courts but won its case. The village rallied round and 1400 people signed a petition in 5 days. To raise money for the club and for charity the Club's supporters decided on a calendar displaying the most prominent sights and sites in the village. After much hard work and shivering through the winter this splendid product is ready for the market. Please buy it. The calendar was launched at the Shamley Green Village Fete, on Saturday, June 12th, and costs £7.
